9:32 pm [sparky77]	Finally!!! I'm what? Two months late? Anyway, it was super fun to write Mal/Simon again. I missed them and I'm pretty sure this is the longest story I've ever written. This is what happens what I try to write a romance. It is not a romance by any normal person's definition of the word, but it does end up happy, so I count it as a win. Fandom: Firefly Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Mal/Simon, mentions of Simon/Kaylee and Simon/OFC Notes: Takes place mostly post movie. Thanks to llaras   for giving an early version a read through and thanks to finitejester37   for the beta and for dealing patiently with my insanity. And dedicated to my awesome, awesome NSPs. I love you guys! Summary: I was given a prompt of romance and was determined to write a Simon/Mal story that ends happily ever after. 14,000 words later I finally got there. 11:21 pm [llaras]	faq To anyone here from firefly_signal or other unknown parts, welcome and thanks for checking us out! NSP Ficathon 2008 FAQ What is an NSP? A naughty space pirate. Who are the NSPs? A bunch of Firefly fans who've been hanging out online and off for years now. A horrible herd of beautiful, talented, brilliant, and very modest fen. Browncoats, always. Why a ficathon just for the NSPs? Cause we like writing stories for each other. How long has this been going on? Three years now. How does this work? The first two years we did a standard exchange. This year we tried something different, splitting ten writers into two teams of five. Each writer got two prompts and had to write two fics of at least 750 words each. The prompts are: NC-17, crossover, RPF or RPS, boyslash, femslash, AU, romance, angst, het and threesome. The fics will be posted by the team captains: dirty_diana for the Remorseless Harridans (or Team Bu Huihen De Pofu) and llaras for Team Naughty Blisk (blisk being made up of the first letters of our usernames). All fics are anonymous for now, authors will be revealed once they have all been posted. So, in about a week. How do others join up? We're not looking to add anyone to the mix right now. This has always been just a place for us to write prezzies for our friends and maybe link them on our LJs, so no discussion about opening it up has occurred yet. It certainly will be discussed once everything has been posted and things settle down. In the meantime, if you're inclined, feedback to the authors would be shiny. I hope you enjoy the fics! I really thought signing up would inspire me - nostalgia and all that - but outside of a few ideas, I have pretty much negative desire or ability to write, so instead of the due date showing up and me bailing, I figured I'd bail now.
